The effectiveness of a treatment therapy can be defined in several ways. The most important factor for a patient is "Is it safe." The second most important factor for a patient is "How significant are the side effects?" The third most important factor for a patient is "What is the cost?". The answers are: always, there aren't any and 'that depends.' We offer laser therapy for $30, however most offices charge up to $100. Click on the LASER tab to learn more.
The training that we provide here at the Core X System Campus and virtually is designed to re-train the foundation of the athlete’s core regardless of the position that they play for land-based sports. When an athlete can understand the importance of the core and put that knowledge to use, then the athlete is better prepared to make snap-judgment choices while they train and play. Instead of focusing on body-part specific injuries, we focus on preventing all injuries, and on lost time training and playing.
Yes, we offer an online/on-demand certification course for professionals such as athletic trainers and coaches, therapists, and doctors. The Core X System certification course is about 8 hours of lecture and video demonstrations that cover the basics of core recuitment. Additionally, there are many videos on our YouTube channel: Core X System Sports Medicine. The Core X System training is perfect for teens in sports programs.
The Core X System was originally created to treat a medical condition known as ‘athletic pubalgia’ a condition that involves a tight hip. The Core X System drill-step sequences will improve mobility of the hip and knees and ankles and feet simultaneously, and improve your core, too. The primary goal of the training is “Fastest possible return to play.”
The Core X System focuses on 2 main issues: (1) improving overall core recruitment, and (2) rehabilitating core deficiencies. Each drill sequences solves both issues simultaneously. Most core-based workouts are geared towards core ‘strength’ but this is the wrong focus. Instead, the Core X System drill-steps are geared toward excellence in whole-body recruitment which also prevents injury. A ‘strong’ core does not necessarily promise less injury.
The Core X System is a great way for anyone to restore their core. It was originally designed as a physiotherapy program for athletes, but we have been teaching it to non-athletes for over 15 years. The Core X System can be used anywhere since all you need is a workout video and a Core X System device to wear. Workouts are available with our VIP/CXS digital subscription.
The Core X System is a fast and effective way to stimulate the core, stabilize joints, improve overall movement accuracy, and prevent injuries. Essentially, it is a movement therapy, a whole-body strength conditioning workout, and cardiovascular workout all in one.
The Core X System is not like physical therapy because you do not need a referral from a doctor, and you do not need a therapist. Also, it is not designed to treat one specific part of the body, instead it is a whole-body approach to teach you how to move better in less time than usual therapy. The Core X System is not considered to be ‘exercise’, but many folks use it daily along with their other training and classes.
The Core X System as founded on principles based in physiotherapy, but we have simplified the programs to become accessible to anyone looking to improve their core. There are 10 basic drill-steps to learn, then later those steps are combined into sequences that are fun to do and feel really great. If you are a therapist or trainer, you can become certified with our online course. If want to use it for yourself, we offer every-level online classes with our VIP/CXS digital subscription.
I have personally used the Core X System with many people over 70 years old, and found great results when the program is followed 1-2 times per week along with strength training, and other mobility skills.
Yes, if you live in the Los Angeles area. Or, you can follow along with many instructional workouts on our digital subscription VIP/CXS. Soon there will be trainers in other cities that can teach the Core X System.
Yes, the Core X System is safe to be used daily, but it is more effective when combined with other types of activities like cardiovascular and strength training.
