Dr. Dean has been “Keeping South Bay Healthy” since 2006. Dean is a native to California, practicing as a licensed chiropractor, physiotherapist, and sports medicine specialist.
"I believe that a great doctor is someone with a lifetime committed to a personal investment in movement, nutrition, health, mental and emotional diversity. Professionally, I have a persistence to search for answers based in logic and science, while integrating creativity and curiosity. I don't believe that a simple chiropractic adjustment can treat or cure anything because there is zero research to support it.
"I don't practice 'technique', I use what works, and often innovate treatments and therapies that are unique to each patient. My practice is based on the values and expectations of my patients, and that they have entrusted me to sort through their symptoms, emotions and challenges to steer them towards viable solutions. Every treatment that I provide is backed by my professional promise... who does this anymore?
"I am sensitive to the struggles that folks have with their health care because I have been through that circus myself many times. I promise, there is always a faster, simpler, more cost-effective way to resolve almost any injury or pain... since I have had to do it on myself already, and it worked great."
Dean’s clinical experience includes (2013-2020): Venice Family Clinic in Santa Monica, CSU in Northridge, SCU Health System in Whittier, and a private family practice in Hawthorn, California. Dean graduated from Santa Monica College and matriculated to Southern California University of Health Sciences (Los Angeles Chiropractic College, 4500 hours of doctorate study, Dean’s list.)
